So without any further delay, here’s the news you’ve been waiting for – Instagram Direct Publishing is now available on SocialPilot.
You can now easily schedule and publish your Instagram posts directly from SocialPilot without any annoying reminders or third-party integrations. Instagram Direct Publishing enables you to schedule and publish single image and video posts to your Instagram accounts.
Before you can start publishing, you will need to make sure that the profile you’re posting to is an Instagram Business account. Due to the limitations of the API, direct publishing only works for Business accounts.
If your profile is a personal account, here’s a step-by-step guide from Instagram on how to change your personal profile to a Business account.
Also, due to the limitations imposed by Instagram’s API on all 3rd party tools for direct publishing, you won’t be able to directly publish multiple image posts, Stories, and GIFs. To post these, you will need to schedule them as reminders and SocialPilot will send you a mobile notification with everything you need to publish them at the scheduled time.
Once, your Instagram Business accounts are set up, you can connect your account/s with Instagram in the usual way and start publishing directly to those accounts.
