It’s so easy to post to both Facebook and Instagram simultaneously, whilst also being able to customise each post to suit the platform.
I’ve found the reporting to be quite limited. I’d also like to be able to set my timezone, so I’m not always having to convert from PST.
Our Experience with SocialPilot
As someone who has managed Pinterest marketing for a business for years, I’ve found SocialPilot to be a game-changer tool. It’s more than just a scheduling tool; it’s a whole Pinterest marketing solution that has helped me stay consistent, save time, and increase interaction with ease.
Effortless Scheduling:
I no longer worry about manually pinning every day. SocialPilot’s visual calendar and bulk scheduling features let me plan and schedule weeks of content in one go. The pin preview is a great touch—it helps me see how each pin will look before posting.
Smarter Content Creation:
Using the AI Assistant, I can quickly generate engaging pin descriptions and captions that are optimized for visibility. Plus, the Canva integration inside SocialPilot is super handy—I design pins right within the platform and keep everything organized in the media library.
Insights That Matter:
SocialPilot’s Pinterest analytics give me a clear view of what’s working. I track metrics like reach, impressions, and clicks, then use that data to fine-tune my strategy. I also create custom, branded reports easily when I need to share results.
Built for Collaboration:
Since I sometimes work with designers and freelancers, the approval workflows and role-based permissions make team collaboration smooth and secure. Everyone stays in the loop, and I maintain full control over what gets published.
And the best part? I manage Pinterest along with other social media management, like Instagram and LinkedIn, right from one dashboard. SocialPilot truly makes Pinterest marketing simpler, faster, and more effective for my business.

Verified User
The interface isn’t exactly what I would call stimulating. It’s basic and not very user-friendly if you’re looking at it from an aesthetic perspective. Additionally, and this was really quite surprising considering how much users pay, dragging and dropping posts using the “smart shuffle” feature always had some sort of glitch. For a time, I used Tailwind Create for Pinterest Pins. The colors always looked dull, and the designs were dated.

Tailwind is a Pinterest marketing tool that helps businesses, bloggers, and eCommerce brands automate pin scheduling, discover trends, and analyze performance. Its Pinterest-approved features make it a top choice for marketers looking to boost engagement and website traffic.

We used to have to post to our church account daily, which doesn’t sound bad, but logging in daily, uploading whatever we are posting, writing the post, and hitting send, eats into the work day. But later helps because we can take an hour and schedule a month or more posts. It’s so good.
Cons
- The free plan has limited scheduling capabilities.
- Analytics are not as in-depth as dedicated Pinterest analytics tools.
- Some scheduling and optimization features are locked behind higher-tier plans.
- It can be expensive for small businesses managing multiple accounts.
A. Rahema M.
They continue to remove and change features without updating clients. Support is all via email. It has so many glitches. Sometimes it autoposts, other times it doesn’t. Also, avoid a yearly plan. With all the issues I was having, I asked for a refund, and they said it was beyond 30 days, so that wasn’t possible (I didn’t see a 30 cancellation policy when signing up for the year). If you do it monthly, you can just cancel the next month if it isn’t working for you, but I’m out 150 dollars on an app that I barely use due to glitches.
Our Experience with Later
Later is a visual-first social media scheduling tool that simplifies Pinterest marketing with its intuitive drag-and-drop content calendar, automation, and analytics. It’s a great choice for small businesses, e-commerce brands, and content creators who prioritize a streamlined workflow.

We love Hootsuite for reporting, tracking ad performance, creating relationships with customers for our clients, and how easy it is to use! We use this tool every day. Shara S.
I can’t collab posts, so don’t use the post scheduler, and never really figured out how to use Hootsuite for anything else. I can’t say customer service is not great. After a few minutes, they shut down the chat and moved to email, and then they don’t really respond in a timely manner.

Hootsuite is a powerful all-in-one social media management tool that helps businesses and marketers streamline their Pinterest scheduling, monitoring, and analytics. It’s particularly useful for large teams, agencies, and brands that manage multiple accounts.

Cons
- Focused only on paid advertising—lacks organic Pinterest scheduling features.
- Higher learning curve compared to standard social media management tools.

- Limited support for other social media scheduling outside ads.

Customer Service/ Support Wait Times – took 1 month to actually get a simple answer. I asked for a month’s credit (literally $20 worth). They said nope, no way. I was a paying and loyal customer for over 3 years. How it makes sense to lose a customer paying $600 a year to make up for their error of 1 1-month wait is beyond me. They pretty much gave me the finger and told me they wouldn’t do it.
Even that took 2 weeks to respond to! If you have a problem, you are on your own – don’t count on support to ever help, and if you definitely don’t count on them making it right or caring about their customers.
Our Experience with AdEspresso
AdEspresso stands out as a specialized Pinterest advertising tool, designed to help businesses and agencies create, test, and optimize paid campaigns on the platform. Unlike traditional social media schedulers, AdEspresso is ad-centric, making it an excellent choice for brands looking to maximize their return on Pinterest ads.
One of its most powerful features is A/B testing, which allows users to compare different pin variations to identify the most effective content. Combined with automated bid optimization, AdEspresso ensures that businesses get the best results from their Pinterest ad spend.
The detailed analytics dashboard provides in-depth insights into engagement, conversions, and ROI, making it easy for marketers to track performance and refine their strategies. Additionally, its custom audience targeting and retargeting tools help advertisers reach the right people at the right time.
However, AdEspresso is not ideal for organic Pinterest content scheduling, as its focus is primarily on paid ads. Brands that require a complete Pinterest marketing tool, including organic pin scheduling and community engagement, may need to pair it with another social media management platform.
AdEspresso Pricing :
- Starter: $49/month
- Plus: $99/month
Final Verdict:
AdEspresso is ideal for businesses focused on Pinterest ads, offering A/B testing, automated bidding, and in-depth analytics for maximum ROI. However, it lacks organic scheduling, making it best for brands prioritizing paid promotions over content marketing.

What I like best about PromoRepublic is its comprehensive suite of features and its user-friendly interface. The availability of customizable templates and designs is impressive, allowing us to create visually appealing and engaging content easily.
Cons
- Occasional scheduling glitches may require rechecking posts.
- Pricing can be high for small businesses using it only for Pinterest.

Can’t post on a specific day and recur. Can’t edit all posts that you initially added a post to; you have to do it individually. Doesn’t easily show a timeline of posts on a specific platform. You have to zoom in to see the time posted. Sometimes URL links don’t work. No public roadmap. Same issues for a long time, so what are they working on in secret?
Our Experience with PromoRepublic
PromoRepublic provides a well-rounded Pinterest marketing solution by combining automation, design, and analytics. It is ideal for small businesses, agencies, and franchises looking to scale their Pinterest presence efficiently.
Its AI-powered scheduling and content library ensure a consistent posting schedule, while the bulk scheduling and visual content calendar make it easy to plan Pinterest campaigns in advance. The built-in design tools allow users to create engaging pins without needing external software.

- Small Business: $49 per month for solo marketers and small businesses.
- Agency: $69 per month for marketing agencies and teams.

Final Verdict
PromoRepublic is a great option for businesses that want an easy way to create, schedule, and manage Pinterest content. Its AI scheduling, built-in design tools, and local marketing features make it a useful tool for agencies and franchises. However, it is best suited for organic Pinterest marketing rather than ad campaigns.

How to Select the Best Pinterest Tool for Your Business?
With all these Pinterest marketing tools out there, how do you select the most effective one? The secret is to get one that suits your business needs, whatever that may be: automation, analytics, or content creation.
These are the main considerations before selecting one:
1. Budget
Are you interested in a free solution or willing to spend money on enhanced features? Certain tools have starter free plans, while others supply advanced automation and insights for an ongoing monthly payment. Ensure that the cost of the tool will fit within your marketing budget.
2. Business Aims
What are you looking to do on Pinterest? If your objective is to gain brand awareness, you’ll require tools emphasizing regular pinning and SEO optimization. If generating sales is more important, look for tools that monitor conversions as well as provide assistance with Pinterest Ads.
3. Automation Needs
Consistency is everything on Pinterest, and pinning manually each day is time-consuming. Think about whether you need a tool that can schedule posts, repin evergreen content, and recommend the best posting times.
4. Analytics & Performance Tracking
Data-driven marketing prevails. Some do offer simple engagement metrics, but others deliver rich insights into pins performance, audience engagement, and referral traffic. If you enjoy digging into numbers, choose a tool with analytics capabilities.
5. Ease of Use & Integration
There are some Pinterest marketing tools that are suitable for beginners. Some are so difficult to master that you’ll spend hours, and others are simple to operate and connect to platforms such as Shopify or Instagram. Choose the one most compatible with your workflow and technical skills.
By looking at these features, you’ll be able to select a Pinterest marketing platform that saves time, delivers higher results, and is in sync with your business approach.
Why You Need Pinterest Marketing Tools?
Pinterest isn’t just another social networking website, it’s a visual search engine in which people actually look for ideas, products, and solutions. In fact, the #1 thing that people are using Pinterest to do is find new products and brands, and thus it’s a goldmine for businesses.
Unlike other websites where ads may feel intrusive, individuals on Pinterest are actually inviting branded content. Whether a home decor idea, fashion inspiration, or DIY project, users visit Pinterest ready to browse, save, and shop.
- 97% of searches on Pinterest are unbranded, meaning people are open to discovering new businesses.
- 85% of Pinners say Pinterest helps them start new projects.
- Pinterest drives 33% more referral traffic to e-commerce sites than Facebook.
Unless your brand is capitalizing on Pinterest properly, traffic and sales are being left behind.
The Problems of Doing Pinterest Marketing Manually
Yes, you can do your Pinterest account yourself, but come on—it’s a lot of work. Without the proper tools, you’ll probably struggle with:
- Inconsistent Posting: Pinning randomly doesn’t work. You need a steady stream of fresh pins to stay visible.
- SEO Challenges: Pinterest is a search engine, so keywords and descriptions are important, but individually optimizing every pin is labor-intensive.
- Tracking Performance: How do you know what works? Without analytics, it’s difficult to know which pins are sending traffic and sales.
- Time Drain: Designing pins, scheduling posts, and managing boards takes hours every week if you do it manually.
How Pinterest Marketing Tools Save Your Resources and Time
- Save Time: Schedule posts so your pins post at optimal times without having to lift a finger.
- Maximize Strategy: Utilize analytics to observe which pins are most effective and bet bigger on what’s working.
- Improve Pin Design: Design attention-grabbing, high-converting pins easily with design tools.
- Increase Reach & Engagement: SEO and hashtag tools enable you to rank higher in Pinterest search.
Summing Up
Pinterest is not only an image search platform, but also a traffic driver that can increase brand visibility and boost sales.
To maximize your productivity, use Pinterest marketing tools like SocialPilot to schedule pins, track performance, learn about what’s trending, create a content calendar, and design a successful strategy.
